SellOnCue Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

SellOnCue is a software service developed and operated by FURNISH WELL GROUP LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17231423.

SellOnCue is being developed to help TikTok Shop sellers understand their shop performance, identify useful commercial opportunities and decide what action to take next.

2. Scope of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to information processed through the SellOnCue website, user accounts, dashboard, TikTok Shop integration, support services and related SellOnCue functionality.

It covers information you provide directly to us as well as information that you authorise SellOnCue to access from TikTok Shop.

3. Information we may collect

Account information

When you create or use a SellOnCue account, we may process information such as:

• Your name.
• Email address.
• Account and login information.
• Business or shop information you choose to provide.
• Communication and support history.

TikTok Shop information

If you choose to connect your TikTok Shop account, SellOnCue may access information made available through TikTok Shop APIs and specifically authorised by you.

Depending on the permissions granted and the SellOnCue features in use, this may include:

• Shop information and identifiers.
• Product and SKU information.
• Inventory and stock information.
• Product performance information.
• Shop performance and sales metrics.
• Content and shoppable video performance information.
• LIVE performance information where relevant and authorised.
• Order, transaction or commercial performance information where required and authorised.
• Creator or affiliate performance information where relevant and authorised.

The exact information available to SellOnCue depends on the TikTok Shop permissions approved for the application and authorised by the seller. We aim to request only information reasonably necessary for the functionality being provided.

Information you add to SellOnCue

You may also choose to provide business information such as:

• Product costs.
• Margins or commercial targets.
• Stock priorities.
• Business goals.
• Content or operational preferences.
• Results or feedback relating to SellOnCue recommendations.

Technical information

We may process limited technical information needed to operate and secure the service, including IP addresses, browser information, timestamps, login records and application or server logs.

4. How we use your information

We may use information processed through SellOnCue to:

• Create, secure and manage your SellOnCue account.
• Connect SellOnCue to your authorised TikTok Shop account.
• Import and analyse authorised shop and performance information.
• Identify products, trends or areas that may need attention.
• Generate personalised recommendations, Cues and commercial insights.
• Provide product-specific content guidance where appropriate.
• Measure the outcome of actions or experiments recorded in SellOnCue.
• Build a seller-specific history of previous actions and observed outcomes.
• Improve the accuracy and usefulness of SellOnCue features.
• Provide customer support.
• Maintain the security, integrity and availability of the service.
• Investigate errors, misuse or suspected security incidents.
• Comply with applicable legal and contractual obligations.

5. TikTok Shop authorisation

SellOnCue does not obtain access to a seller's TikTok Shop simply because that seller has created a SellOnCue account.

Where TikTok Shop integration is available, the seller must actively authorise SellOnCue through TikTok's authorised connection process.

SellOnCue will only request and use TikTok Shop permissions that are reasonably necessary to provide enabled features.

You may revoke SellOnCue's TikTok Shop authorisation using the controls provided by TikTok Shop or by contacting us.

Once authorisation is revoked, SellOnCue will stop making new authorised requests for that shop using the revoked credentials.

6. Recommendations, analysis and AI-assisted features

SellOnCue is designed to analyse shop and business information and turn it into practical recommendations.

Some functionality may use rules-based analysis, statistical methods, automated processing or artificial-intelligence-assisted tools to help identify opportunities, explain performance or generate content guidance.

SellOnCue recommendations are decision-support information. They do not guarantee a particular commercial result, and sellers remain responsible for deciding whether to follow a recommendation or take an action.

We do not use SellOnCue to make legal or similarly significant decisions about individuals solely through automated processing.

7. Legal bases for processing

Where UK data protection law applies and we act as a controller, we may process personal information on one or more of the following legal bases:

• Contract: where processing is necessary to provide SellOnCue or perform our agreement with you.
• Legitimate interests: where necessary to operate, secure, improve or support SellOnCue and those interests are not overridden by your rights.
• Legal obligation: where processing is necessary to comply with applicable law.
• Consent: where consent is appropriate or required, including where you actively authorise particular integrations or optional processing.

In some circumstances, SellOnCue may process information on behalf of a business customer. In that context, the customer may be responsible for determining the relevant purposes and legal basis for that processing.

8. Data minimisation

SellOnCue follows a data-minimisation approach.

We aim to request, receive and retain only the information reasonably necessary to provide the functionality being used, operate the service, maintain security and meet applicable legal or contractual obligations.

We do not request additional TikTok Shop permissions simply because they are available.

9. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information or authorised TikTok Shop data.

Information may be shared only where reasonably necessary with:

• Technology and infrastructure providers used to operate SellOnCue.
• Hosting and backup providers.
• Email or communications providers used to provide the service.
• Professional advisers where necessary.
• Regulators, courts or law-enforcement bodies where legally required.
• TikTok Shop where required to operate the authorised integration or meet platform obligations.

Service providers are expected to receive only information reasonably necessary for the service they provide.

10. Where information is stored

SellOnCue's primary production environment is hosted in a United Kingdom data centre.

Some external service providers may process information from other locations where necessary to provide their services. Where a transfer of personal information outside the United Kingdom requires additional safeguards, we will use appropriate lawful transfer mechanisms.

11. Security

We use technical and organisational measures intended to protect information processed through SellOnCue against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or loss.

Measures include, where appropriate:

• Encrypted HTTPS connections.
• Restricted administrative access.
• Strong and unique credentials.
• Multi-factor authentication on supported privileged services.
• Endpoint protection.
• Host-level firewall controls.
• Restriction of unnecessary public network services.
• Restricted public database access.
• Security updates and vulnerability management.
• Backups and recovery arrangements.
• Security logging and incident-response procedures.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we regularly review the controls used to protect SellOnCue.

12. Data retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, to provide SellOnCue, maintain security and comply with applicable legal or contractual obligations.

If you disconnect TikTok Shop, close your SellOnCue account or otherwise end the relevant service relationship, associated TikTok Shop and customer data that is no longer required will normally be deleted or securely anonymised within a reasonable period.

Our current target is to complete deletion of data no longer required for the active service within 30 days of the relevant account closure, disconnection or verified deletion request, unless a longer period is required by law, security needs or another legitimate obligation.

Residual copies contained in backups may remain until they expire through the normal backup-retention cycle and will not be restored for routine business use.

13. Access, correction, export and deletion requests

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, provision of or deletion of information associated with your SellOnCue account. Where available, you can also use the self-service controls in Manage account to update account details, disconnect TikTok Shop or delete the active SellOnCue account directly.

We may need to verify your identity and your authority over the relevant account or TikTok Shop before completing a request.

Requests can be sent to privacy@selloncue.com.

We will also reasonably assist TikTok Shop or an authorised seller with valid requests relating to information processed through SellOnCue where required by applicable law or platform obligations.

14. Your UK data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have rights including:

• The right to access personal information we hold about you.
• The right to request correction of inaccurate information.
• The right to request deletion of personal information.
• The right to restrict certain processing.
• The right to object to certain processing.
• The right to receive certain information in a portable format.
• The right to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
• Rights relating to certain automated decision-making activities.

These rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions and will not apply in every situation.

If you have a concern about how SellOnCue handles your information, please contact us first at privacy@selloncue.com so we can investigate.

You may also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) or another competent data protection authority.

16. Cookies and sessions

SellOnCue may use essential cookies or similar technologies required to provide account sessions, authentication, security and core website functionality.

We will provide additional information or consent controls if optional cookies or tracking technologies requiring consent are introduced.

17. Children

SellOnCue is a business software service intended for TikTok Shop sellers and is not directed at children.

We do not knowingly design the service for or solicit personal information from children.

18. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as SellOnCue develops, as integrations change or where legal, security or operational requirements change.

The current version will be published on this page together with its effective or last-updated date.

Material changes may also be communicated through SellOnCue where appropriate.
